Nobody Kills Sherlock tells the story of the annual awards banquet of the Wheaton Book Club that has drawn novelists from all over the country who submitted their food themed cozy mysteries. But there are only two lucky finalists, Angela X Crispy, nationally famous author, and Kat Fisher, first time novelist and local favorite. Weldon Burger, president of the W.B.C., has planned a fantastic evening that will culminate with the winning novelist being awarded $1000 in cash by a surprise guest speaker. Weldon has hired an actor to impersonate the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. Unfortunately, the evening becomes a fiasco when the two novelists take their rivalry embarrassingly public. To top it off, the guest speaker turns out to be more of a shock than a surprise.
